Native to the drier parts of Africa, Curio rowleyanus is a flowering plant (although rarely indoors) in the daisy family.  As a creeping succulent vine, it’s stems trail to the ground, rooting where they touch, forming dense mats.  

String of pearls has a shorter lifespan, about 5 years, but through propagation it can last indefinitely.
